When you want to buy daily
fresh bread, fruit and vegetables, you can
hop to one of two close shops or visit a big
market in Omis where fresh fish, eggs and
all kinds of Mediterreanean fruits are offered.
If you prefer prepared food you can choose
among three restaurants. All three of them
are placed in the center of the village, near
the main road.
Restaurant Borovina
Restaurant Borovina
offers the specialties of the region:
smoked ham, goat and sheep cheese, bread
and meat under the lid of iron (peka),
sour marinated beef (pasticada) with
noodles (njoki) and the lamb on the
barbecue. The restaurant offers a tremendous
view on the sea in the shadow of pine
trees.
Pizzeria Espagna
Espagna is known
as a pizzeria, but it offers various
ready-cooked dishes as well as the dishes
on order, ice-creams and cold drinks.
Its closed and air conditioned terrace
can hold about 50 guests.
Restaurant Sun City
Luxuriously furnished
restaurant Sun City is owned by former
Miss of Croatia, Anica Martinovic. You
can enjoy in a wide variety of specialties
like mussels, shrimps(scampi), roast
fish and delicious fish stew with rice
(risoto).
